I Kings 10:13

King James Version (1769)

13 And king Solomon gave unto the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which Solomon gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.
Untruth

Misinterpretations often portray the interaction as romantic or sensual, imagining an affair between Solomon and the queen due to her receiving 'all her desire,' whereas it describes a diplomatic exchange showcasing Solomon's wisdom and hospitality; others see it as reckless extravagance depleting his treasury, ignoring the context of his God-given abundance that far exceeded such gifts; or it is taken out of context to downplay the queen's praise of Yahweh, reducing the event to mere materialism rather than a testimony to divine blessing.

Truth

This verse concludes the Queen of Sheba's visit to Solomon, emphasizing his exceptional generosity in granting all her desires and adding lavish gifts from his royal bounty, which reflects the unparalleled wisdom, wealth, and blessings God poured out on him, drawing admiration from distant lands and glorifying God's faithfulness to His promises as seen earlier in Solomon's reign.
